Stetson's story
Stetson’s story began in heartbreak.
This sweet boy was found alone on a sidewalk outside of a California shelter with a broken leg and broken pelvis when he was only around three months old. Despite the pain he must have been in, he still greeted the world with softness in his eyes and hope in his heart.
Thanks to the dedication of incredible advocates in California, Stetson was safely pulled from the shelter and placed into a loving temporary foster home while arrangements were made to get him to Idaho. After a race against time to find transport, an amazing team of people stepped up to help bring him to safety.
He arrived in Idaho surrounded by people determined to give him the future he deserves. ❤️
Unfortunately, because his injuries healed improperly before rescue, things are not fully aligned the way they should be. But despite everything he has endured so early in life, Stetson remains incredibly sweet, loving, and trusting.
He has already overcome more than most dogs ever should.

Stetson is gentle, affectionate, and full of quiet resilience. Even after everything he’s been through, he still leans into love and connection. He’s the kind of puppy who makes people instantly root for him.
