Their story

Some of the hardest goodbyes are made out of love.

Koda and Daxter have spent their entire lives with a family who absolutely adores them. When their young son developed severe allergies, his parents refused to give up without a fight. They pursued countless doctor visits, allergy specialists, medications, creams, and every treatment they could find. It wasn't until allergy testing confirmed a severe dog allergy – and their son's rash nearly disappeared while the dogs were boarded – that they were forced to face the heartbreaking truth.

This isn't a family giving up on their dogs.

It's a family making an impossible decision for the health of their child while hoping someone else will love Koda and Daxter just as deeply as they have.

Now Charlie's Angels Rescue has promised to find these two incredible dogs the forever home they deserve.

One thing is certain – they've spent their entire lives together, and we'd love to see them continue their journey side by side.

Personality

Koda and Daxter are everything you could hope for in companions.

They're sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing, with just the right amount of playful energy. Whether they're soaking up the sunshine, chewing on their favorite chew sticks, going for walks, or simply relaxing together, they're happiest when they're with the people they love.

They ride beautifully in the car, are house trained, and know sit, down, and stay.

Koda, at 65 pounds, has a calm, loving personality and enjoys simply being close to her family.

Daxter, the larger of the two at 110 pounds, is a gentle giant who gets excited when a walk begins before quickly settling into a nice pace.

The most special thing about these two, though, isn't their individual personalities – it's their bond. They find comfort in one another and have never known life apart.

Ideal home

Koda and Daxter are searching for a family willing to open their hearts to both of them.

They've lived successfully with young children, are friendly with other dogs, enjoy car rides, and are happiest simply being included in everyday family life.

Their ideal home is one where they can continue doing what they've always done – sharing life's adventures together, whether that's a neighborhood walk, an afternoon lounging in the yard, or curling up after a day spent with the people they love.

Keeping them together would be the greatest gift we could give them.
